Dennis Herrera is the first Latino to serve as City Attorney of San Francisco. He is widely viewed as one of the Bay Area's and California's most prominent and successful legal practitioners.
As the City Attorney, Herrera was responsible for litigating the California gay marriage cases, which he won in the California Supreme Court this June.
